Stephen Fleming

Steve Fleming is on the Investment Board of Moneta Ventures Fund II and Fund III. He has been President & Chief Executive Officer of River City Bank since 2008. Under his leadership, the Bank has almost tripled in size from $800 million to $2.3 billion in total assets. Steve has over 38 years of banking experience, including 20 years with Bank of America in Sacramento, San Francisco, and London. Immediately prior to joining River City Bank, he was the Founder and CEO of Presidio Bank in San Francisco. Previously, he was also the President & CEO of National Bank of the Redwoods in Santa Rosa.

Steve is involved in a variety of charitable and community activities, including serving as a board member for the Kelly Foundation (the sixth largest foundation in the Sacramento region), Capital Region Family Business Center (current President), the Greater Sacramento Area Economic Council, and the Sacramento chapter of Lambda Alpha (former President). He is also a member of the Sacramento Host Committee. Steve received a BA in economics from the University of California at Davis and was awarded membership in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He also completed his MBA at the University of California at Berkeley.
